Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled WordPress, PHP, and Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building and maintaining dynamic websites, web applications, and custom modules. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Build robust web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways.
• Optimise websites for performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and coding best practices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery.
• Strong hands-on experience with WordPress (custom themes, plugins, hooks, filters).
• In-depth knowledge of the Laravel framework.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
• Knowledge of version control tools (Git).
• Familiarity with security practices and performance optimisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3–5 years of professional experience in WordPress, PHP, and CodeIgniter development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.).
