PHP Wordpress Developer

Job Summary:

The Senior PHP & WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable web applications and websites using PHP and the WordPress platform. This role requires strong expertise in back-end and Woocomerce, Bigcommerce API including custom theme and plugin development, database management, Customisation ecommerce Solutions and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of delivering robust and efficient web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Development & Implementation:

· Develop Woocommerce solutions and provide smooth eCommerce website customised checkout process.

· Ability to work with custom filters on Product pages and develop effective product catalogue and overall shopping experience

· Develop, and implement custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities from scratch.

· Develop and maintain robust back-end systems using PHP, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

· Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress and other PHP applications.

· Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of all developed applications and websites.

· Maintenance & Optimization:

· Perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for existing WordPress websites and PHP applications.

· Optimize website performance, including page load times, database queries, and server-side operations.

· Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and vulnerabilities promptly.

· Collaboration & Communication:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, project managers, other developers) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship as required.

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.

· Database Management:

· Design, implement, and manage MySQL databases for web applications.

· Optimize database queries for performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Technical Expertise:

· Minimum 5-6 years of professional experience in PHP and WordPress development.

· Strong proficiency in PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

· Extensive experience with WordPress core, custom theme development, Woocomerce, Big Commerce API and plugin development.

· Strong knowledge of MySQL and database optimization techniques.

· Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.

· Have Potential experience in WP Engine and ensure Security for website

· Exceptional problem-solving and debugging abilities.

· Ability to analyse complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,065.74 - ₹45,789.39 per month
