PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality and accessible web applications. Your responsibilities will include back-end development using PHP and MySQL, WordPress customization, front-end development with JavaScript and CSS, DevOps tasks, and ensuring accessibility compliance with WCAG guidelines. In back-end development, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing PHP applications that use MySQL as the database backend. You will leverage PHP frameworks and native PHP to build robust solutions that are scalable and efficient. For WordPress development, you will work on customizing themes using the native Block Editor, creating custom post types, and taxonomies to fulfill unique business requirements. You will also utilize wp-cli for managing WordPress tasks efficiently. In front-end development, you will implement interactive user interfaces with vanilla JavaScript, build responsive and accessible designs using CSS and preprocessors like SCSS, and maintain mixins to enhance code reusability. As part of DevOps tasks, you will configure and optimize Nginx servers for high-performance web applications, use modern build tools like npm, Yarn, and Gulp to automate workflows, maintain version control with Git, and manage repositories on GitHub. You will also implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure rapid and reliable deployments. Ensuring accessibility compliance is a key aspect of the role, and you will be required to ensure that all web applications and interfaces meet WCAG 2.1 standards, with updates aligned to WCAG 2.2. To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience with PHP, MySQL, vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and SCSS. Expertise in WordPress development, Nginx, wp-cli, modern package managers/build tools, Git version control, and CI/CD practices is essential. A deep understanding of web accessibility standards and a commitment to building inclusive web experiences are also required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are important for this position.,
