PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing new features and maintaining the existing software baseline. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing custom PHP based Web Services & Websites - Demonstrating knowledge of e-commerce websites like ZenCart, Shopify, Prestashop, Magento, Open Cart, Custom PHP, etc. - Writing efficient, secure, and organized code - Having expertise in PHP5 and a good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) - Integrating Ajax and APIs such as Google API, Facebook API, and Shipping Provider - Implementing interfaces, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Templating, caching, sessions, and authentication - Working with complex MYSQL queries - Utilizing frameworks like Code Igniter, CakePHP, Laravel, Zend, etc. - Conducting core/custom PHP development - Analyzing, designing, coding, debugging, testing, and deploying changes to the system - Researching and suggesting new technologies beneficial to the company's technological needs - Collaborating with team members to launch new site features and content - Coordinating with senior management to establish sustainable project management processes - Contributing to a team of passionate developers - Conducting unit testing of application modules developed Qualifications required for this role include: - Track record of implementing well-designed & user-friendly websites - Ability to write efficient, scalable, and reusable code - Experience in coding HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, and jQuery Mobile - Expertise in custom application development using MVC framework - Proficiency in MySQL Query Optimization - Experience working with Web Services, XML, JSON for at least 1 year - Ability to quickly learn new concepts and deliver functional prototypes Additionally, if you have the following qualifications, it would be considered a plus: - Experience with CakePHP - Released an open-source library on GitHub with positive reviews - Profile on StackOverflow with a minimum of 50 answers If you are passionate about software development, meticulous, able to work independently, customer service-centric, and a self-starter with a good sense of collaboration, we encourage you to apply by emailing your resume to hr@omsguru.com.,
