Job Title: PHP Developer – CodeIgniter Framework Location: Infopark, Cherthala Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with experience in the CodeIgniter framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing web applications, writing clean, efficient code, and solving complex problems. This position involves working on both new and existing projects while collaborating with front-end developers and designers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework. Write clean, well-designed/ structured and optimized code. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and security. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Maintain and update existing applications based on client feedback. Write technical documentation for internal and external use. Stay up-to-date with emerging web development technologies and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong knowledge of CodeIgniter . Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with MySQL databases and writing efficient queries. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Should be able to work under minimum supervision. Preferred Skills: Experience with MVC architecture and design patterns. Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel) is a plus. Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular is an added advantage. Experience with cloud platforms and deployment is a plus. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP development, with at least 2 years of experience in CodeIgniter.
