Job Description

Job Role:

 Development: Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code for web applications, websites, and other software projects.

 Frameworks: Proficiency in PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Zend, depending on the project requirements.

Database Management: Integrating databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) with PHP applications, handling data storage, retrieval, and manipulation efficiently.

 Frontend Integration: Collaborating with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements using technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

 Deploy and monitor the Services/Endpoints ensuring availability and scalability (ability to handle 100X traffic)

 Work on full project lifecycle starting from requirements gathering/understanding the problem to deploying and maintaining the project.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

 Experience of 2+ years in PHP, Laravel, Codeigniter and database handling

 Extensive hands-on coding experience with PHP (Laravel) and CodeIgniter- again it's an Individual contributor role!

 Extensive experience in designing and maintaining RESTful API endpoints

 Extensive experience with databases such as AWS RDS(MySQL) and/or Postgres and/or Mongo. Extensive experience in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS based) - e.g. AWS API Gateway, Lambda Functions etc.

 Experience with cache like Redis and/or Memory cache

 Good experience in Microservices/Macroservices or Event driven Architectures  Good experience with design patterns

 Experience in writing advanced SQL-queries, good knowledge of PL/SQL

 Good understanding of Software Design Principles and domain-driven design

 Experience with Continuous Delivery and Containerization (Docker)

 Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a simple manner
