Phoenix Intern - Buying & Merchandising (Accessories)

Role Overview: As a part of Myntra's Phoenix initiative, you will be joining us in Bangalore for a 6-month internship designed to provide a launchpad to women on a career break. You will collaborate with industry experts on projects aligned with your interests, abilities, and potential for full-time employment with Myntra. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize sales for a group of products, create business plans, strategize license brands business, and ensure timely launches for all license brand projects. Key Responsibilities: - Daily sales tracking and monthly sales planning - Analyzing margins and discounts - Monitoring category growth and coordinating promotional activities - Engaging with licensing teams and collaborating with various internal teams for category growth - Effective planning and forecasting orders to maximize profitability - Financial analysis, inventory management, and range/product performance analysis - Building collaborative partnerships with brand, sales, and marketing teams Qualifications Required: - MBA/NIFT degree with over 6 years of experience in strategy, category management, planning, finance, or related areas - Strong communication, project management, analytical, and process-oriented skills - Proficiency in MS-Office, knowledge of BI tools/statistics - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment - Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, especially in the accessories category (preferably watches & wearables) is advantageous (Note: No additional details of the company were mentioned in the job description.),
