The lab utilizes both experimental and computational approaches to investigate the function, evolution, and origins of sensory (nervous) systems.

Research Areas Include

– Sensory Neurobiology: Investigating genes, cells, and neural networks of biomedical, ecological, and evolutionary importance– Organismal Behavior: Exploring how life responds to the external world– Comparative Genomics: Employing artificial intelligence and big-data approaches to study ancient and rapidly evolving genes and features

PhD Applicants
