Pharmacy Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Laboratory Management

• Prepare laboratories for practical classes: setup equipment, reagents, instruments, and materials.
• Assist faculty during practical sessions and demonstrations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of all labs.

2. Equipment & Inventory Handling

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments (HPLC, UV-Vis, dissolution apparatus, friability tester, etc.).
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, glassware, and consumables.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals as per safety norms.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Implement and monitor lab safety protocols as per PCI and internal university guidelines.
• Conduct regular checks of fire safety, fume hoods, chemical storage, and first-aid equipment.
• Maintain MSDS records and hazardous waste disposal logs.

4. Documentation & Support

• Maintain practical records, logbooks, calibration reports, and equipment maintenance files.
• Assist faculty in preparing practical manuals, SOPs, and lab documentation.
• Support research students (M.Pharm/PhD) with lab setup and instrumentation.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• Diploma / Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences only.
• Preference to candidates with experience in Pharmacy college/university labs.

Experience

• Freshers can also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
