Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately. Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and possible drug interactions. Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and side effects. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Monitor inventory levels, order medicines, and manage stock efficiently. Ensure all records and documentation are maintained as per hospital and regulatory standards. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for smooth patient care. Follow protocols for handling narcotic and controlled substances. Stay updated with new drugs, regulations, and pharmacy practices. Requirements: D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution. Valid Pharmacy Council License (State Registration must). Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting. Good knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and medical terminologies. Strong communication and customer service skills.
