Job Purpose:

Pharmacist - IP Pharmacy will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within the hospital

setting. Key responsibilities include Developreviewand evaluate clinical guidelines and Drug Utilization ReviewsReviews

Prescriptions

Job Responsibilities:

A) Medication Management

- Assess identitystrengthand purity of medications

- Review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability

- Provide information on drug interactionsside effectsdosageand storage

B) Inventory and Supply Chain

- Order and purchase pharmaceutical suppliesmedical suppliesand drugs

- Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage and handling

- Maintain inventory and Reorder Level (ROL)

- Place orders for medicine/consumables based on consumption trends

C) Regulatory Compliance and Record-Keeping - Maintain recordsincluding pharmacy filescharge system filesinventoriesand control records - Monitor and maintain registries of narcotics and controlled drugs . D) Collaboration and Customer Service - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to planmonitorand evaluate drug regimens - Advise customers on medication brandsmedical equipmentand healthcare supplies - Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors E) Quality Control and Monitoring - Maintain and monitor vital stock and high-value drugs/consumables

Candidate Requirements:

Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.

Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the Doctors and the other related departmental personnel.

Ability to plan & organize one s work schedule effectively.

Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.

Affinity to work in a team.

Enthusiasm.

Open-mindedness.
