Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site assessments and select target trainees and hospitals to optimize Phaco conversion rates.
Provide on-site instruction and consultation in the Operating Room and wet lab for trainees transitioning from ECCE and SICS to Phaco.
Demonstrate product and procedural excellence, coaching trainees and affiliated personnel for optimal surgical outcomes.
Support Alcon Phaco Development training events, patient education programs, and professional congresses.
Document target assessments, pre-course preparations, and surgical observations, ensuring compliance with Alcon's administrative procedures.
Handle adverse events and product complaints at a local level, forwarding information to the Local Vigilance Representative.
Adhere to corporate compliance guidelines and programs.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of Phaco procedures and cataract surgery techniques.
Hands-on experience in surgical training or ophthalmic equipment use.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for training sessions.
Ability to collaborate with surgeons, hospital staff, and sales teams.
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance in medical device environments.
Strong documentation and administrative skills.
Willingness to travel frequently for on-site support and training.

Education:

Science Bachelor Degree/Diploma /Technical Course
Medically related Specialty Training (Surgical/Medical Technologist) from a recognized institution.
