Role Summary

Alteryx Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic apps

  .
• Build end-to-end

  ETL pipelines

  , including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
• Automate manual processes and optimize existing workflows for performance and scalability.
  
• Work with Alteryx Server for scheduling, publishing, and managing workflows.
  
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical workflows.
  
• Integrate Alteryx solutions with

  Tableau, Power BI, databases, APIs

  , and other enterprise systems.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting.
  
• Document workflows, processes, and best practices.
  

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience as an

  Alteryx Developer

  .
• Strong expertise with

  Alteryx Designer

  , including workflows, macros, and analytic apps.
• Good knowledge of

  Alteryx Server

  for workflow scheduling, automation, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of

  ETL concepts, data modeling, and data transformation

  .
• Proficiency in working with

  SQL databases

  (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience integrating Alteryx with BI tools like

  Tableau or Power BI

  .
• Ability to analyze large datasets and deliver clean, validated outputs.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Python/R for advanced analytics.
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  
• Exposure to version control tools (Git).
  
• Understanding of reporting/visualization best practices.

Education
