Job Title: PGT Psychology Department: Humanities Location: Panchsheel Public School Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable PGT Psychology teacher to join our senior secondary faculty. The candidate will be responsible for teaching psychology to students of classes 11 and 12, helping them understand human behaviour, mental processes, and psychological principles as per the prescribed curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Teach Psychology to senior secondary students (Class 11 & 12) in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. Design and deliver engaging lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessments. Foster critical thinking and discussion about mental health, human development, and behavioral sciences. Prepare students for board exams and provide academic support for internal assessments and projects. Organize psychology-related activities such as case study discussions, role plays, and mental health awareness programs. Assess students’ progress through written tests, assignments, and participation. Maintain accurate academic records and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs. Stay updated with the latest psychological research, teaching strategies, and board guidelines. Qualifications & Skills: Postgraduate degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is required (as per CBSE norms). Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes preferred. Strong command over psychological concepts and teaching methodologies. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Technologically proficient with digital tools and online teaching platforms. Preferred Attributes: Passion for student development and psychological well-being. Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and thought-provoking classroom environment. Experience in student counselling or guidance (added advantage). Familiarity with the NEP 2020 framework and interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
