Job Description:

Saint MSG Glorious International School, Sirsa, is looking for a highly motivated and skilled female Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of Mathematics to join our dynamic teaching team. As a PGT Mathematics teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of Mathematics education to senior students following the Cambridge International Curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students to achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics at the senior level (IGCSE/AS Level) following the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons that cater to the individual needs of students.
• Develop, implement, and assess course materials and lesson plans that align with the Cambridge syllabus.
• Monitor and assess students' progress through assignments, tests, quizzes, and other formative assessments.
• Provide regular feedback to students on their academic performance and guide them towards improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Guide and support students with exam preparation and revision techniques, ensuring they are well-prepared for final assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics department to share best practices and align teaching methods.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
• Support extracurricular activities, such as Mathematics clubs, Olympiads, and other school events.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the Cambridge curriculum and Mathematics education.
• Work with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics) from a recognized university.
• At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, preferably with the Cambridge International curriculum (IGCSE/AS Level).
• In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE/AS-Level Mathematics syllabus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching.
• Female candidates only.
