About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable PGT History Teacher to teach Senior Secondary classes. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students through innovative and learner-centered instructional methods.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Classroom Instruction

• Teach History to Senior Secondary classes in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
• Develop engaging lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning activities.
• Foster critical thinking, historical analysis, and research skills among students.
• Integrate technology and multimedia tools into classroom instruction.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments and maintain academic records.

Academic Planning & Student Support

• Prepare students for Board examinations through structured academic planning.
• Provide academic guidance and remedial support where required.
• Encourage discussions, debates, and project-based learning to deepen subject understanding.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative classroom environment.

Collaboration & Professional Engagement

• Work closely with department colleagues and school leadership on curriculum implementation.
• Participate in staff meetings, academic events, and school initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress when required.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in History (Mandatory)
• B.Ed (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching History at Senior Secondary level
• Good communication and English language skills
• Strong computer proficiency for teaching and documentation
• Experience in a CBSE school will be an added advantage
