Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site teaching role for a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in English at Doon Public School, located in Bhaniyawala, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The PGT (English) will plan and deliver engaging English lessons for senior secondary students, prepare lesson plans following the ICSE/ISC curriculum, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback. The teacher will also organize extracurricular activities related to English such as debates, dramatics, and literary events, and actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher interactions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English Teaching and expertise in the ICSE/ISC curriculum
• Strong Communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
• Skills in Translation and providing constructive feedback
• Experience in Training and mentoring students to achieve academic excellence
• Patience, organizational ability, and a passion for teaching and student development
• Master's degree in English Literature or related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification
• Previous experience as a PGT in English or a similar role is preferred
