Pet groomer

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our growing grooming spa. The ideal candidate will have hands-on grooming experience, a passion for animal care, and a professional approach toward clients and their pets. This role is central to ensuring that pets not only look their best but also feel comfortable and cared for throughout the grooming process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and de-shedding for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
• Assess pet coats, skin, and overall condition before grooming; report any health concerns or abnormalities to owners.
• Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring a stress-free and positive experience.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized grooming area in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Consult with pet owners to understand their preferences, offer styling suggestions, and educate them on pet care between grooming sessions.
• Use grooming tools and equipment efficiently while ensuring proper maintenance and sterilization.
• Manage grooming appointments to ensure punctuality and smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with the grooming team and support staff to deliver excellent service and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pet groomer (professional training or certification preferred).
• Strong knowledge of grooming techniques for various breeds.
• Ability to handle pets of different temperaments with patience and empathy.
• Good physical stamina; comfortable with lifting and standing for long periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, time management, and team spirit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

• Pet grooming certification (Required)
