Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused Personal Loan Officer to join our growing team in Nagpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing personal loan customers, ensuring achievement of sales targets, and maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance. This role requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of personal lending products and processes. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Actively generate leads for personal loan products through various channels including cold calling, direct field visits (e.g., to corporate offices, existing customer base), networking, and referrals. Identify potential customers who meet the eligibility criteria for personal loans. Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual personal loan disbursement targets. Explore opportunities for cross-selling other financial products (e.g., insurance, credit cards) to eligible personal loan customers. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with potential and existing personal loan customers. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Educate customers on the features, benefits, terms, and conditions of various personal loan products. Loan Application & Processing: Guide applicants through the personal loan application process, explaining required documentation and eligibility criteria. Collect and meticulously verify necessary documents, including KYC (Know Your Customer) documents, income proofs (salary slips, bank statements), employment details, and other relevant financial statements. Assist customers in accurately completing application forms. Coordinate with the credit assessment and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely processing of loan applications. Credit Assessment & Due Diligence (Preliminary): Conduct preliminary eligibility checks and basic financial assessment of applicants to ensure they meet initial lending criteria. Highlight any potential risks or discrepancies in applications to the credit team. Ensure all applications comply with the company's lending policies and regulatory guidelines. Compliance & Reporting: Adhere strictly to all internal credit policies, operational procedures, and external regulatory guidelines (e.g., RBI guidelines, fair practices code). Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and loan applications in the CRM or designated system. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to the management. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor personal loan products, pricing, and market trends. Provide feedback on customer needs and market insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
