Performance & Security Tester

About Safran:

• Design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and datasets.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and suggest performance improvements.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to tune application performance.
• Continuously improve the performance testing framework and practices.

Security Testing

• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and application security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST).
• Identify and document vulnerabilities with impact and severity analysis.
• Work with development teams to ensure remediation and revalidation.
• Recommend secure coding practices and mitigation strategies.
• Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines for automation.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
• Strong understanding of performance metrics and tuning techniques
• Experience executing load, stress, and endurance tests

Security Testing

• Hands-on experience with tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Checkmarx, Metasploit, Nessus, Fortify, Kali Linux, Wireshark, and Nmap
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and secure coding principles
• Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments

Additional Technical Skills

• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
• Familiarity with Cloud Security (AWS) and configurations
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby
• Experience integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum SDLC processes
