Performance Engineer

Core Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in System Performance Testing (LoadRunner, JMeter, k6, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Services (VMs, Storage, Networking, App Services, Databases).
• Experience with System Architecture Review and VM/Resource sizing for cloud workloads.

Networking & Databases:

• Knowledge of network topology, latency metrics, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization in Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS.

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning. Analytical & Diagnostic:
• Expertise in analyzing performance results, logs, and metrics from tools like Application Insights, Log Analytics, or Grafana.
• Strong ability to trace and interpret metrics across layers (infra, network).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across DevOps, Infra, and Architecture teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with migration projects (on-premise to Azure/AWS or Cloud to Cloud).
• Experience with containerized workloads (AKS, Docker, ACR).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace
