As a Performance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing systems and ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across applications in the 5G wireless domain. Your responsibilities will include evaluating system performance, logs, data, and workflows to pinpoint bottlenecks and suggest actionable enhancements. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to drive performance excellence. Utilizing APM tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics will be essential to measure and improve system performance. Furthermore, your role will involve querying and analyzing data through log aggregation tools such as CloudWatch, Logz.io, Splunk, and New Relic. Your SQL skills will be valuable in extracting insights from enterprise data lakes to support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate the performance of systems, logs, data, and functional workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements. - Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient. - Utilize APM tools like NewRelic, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics to measure performance and identify areas for optimization. - Query and derive business insights through log aggregation tools such as CloudWatch, Logz.io, Splunk, and New Relic to measure business performance. - Leverage SQL skills for performance insights, utilizing data from enterprise data lakes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory. - 5+ years of experience in System analysis and system performance, or a related role. - Strong experience in analyzing logs, monitoring tools, and performance metrics to identify improvements. - Knowledge of code base in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices frameworks. - Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with PL/SQL, ETL processes, and APIs for data integration and performance optimization.
