We are looking for a highly skilled Kubernetes & Containers Engineer to join our exceptional cloud infrastructure and platform engineers team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the developer experience and operational design of our Kubernetes Platform as a Service. This platform enables developers and engineers to deploy Kubernetes clusters that adhere to standard design patterns across various public and private cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments at scale. Your responsibilities will include deploying and managing enterprise-scale Kubernetes clusters that host distributed application services in a multi-tenant environment. You will work proficiently with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud setups, including virtualization technologies like VMware, Harvester, and OpenStack. Additionally, you will contribute to the Kubernetes Platform as a Service product roadmap, focusing on orchestration of pods, services, deployments, stateful sets, networking, DNS management, load balancing, and secure integration of certificates and secrets management. Moreover, you will support engineering teams in refactoring and containerizing legacy applications using standard microservices frameworks and Kubernetes methodologies. You will provide guidance on container standards, CI/CD integration, and scalable deployment patterns to facilitate efficient modernization and platform adoption. Utilizing infrastructure as code tools such as Helm and Terraform, you will develop reusable IaC modules and implement automated pipelines within the GitOps framework. As a Kubernetes & Containers Engineer, you will implement security standards, establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for Kubernetes clusters, and develop comprehensive documentation outlining design and operational procedures. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience in designing and deploying Kubernetes at enterprise scale, familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments, and profound knowledge of Linux OS, containerization, Kubernetes, networking, DNS, load balancers, storage, and certificates and secrets management. Expertise in IaC tools, central monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters, and working with networking tools will be essential. Nice-to-have skills include Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certifications, experience with automated deployment and management of EKS clusters, specialist or architect level certifications in AWS, GCP, and Azure, and deploying and supporting distributed systems on Kubernetes. This role offers you the opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team based in Cambridge, UK, where you can contribute to crafting the best outcomes for Arm. If you require any adjustments or accommodations during the recruitment process, please reach out to us. Arm's approach to hybrid working aims to support both high performance and personal wellbeing, offering flexibility in working patterns based on individual and team needs. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all candidates.,
