Performance Architect

As a Performance Architect in Mumbai, your role will involve assessing the current enterprise architecture and performance metrics. You will be responsible for optimizing application, database, infrastructure, and cloud deployments to ensure cost optimization. Your key responsibilities will include performance monitoring, tuning, infrastructure sizing, and capacity planning. Additionally, you will participate in incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). To achieve these objectives, you will need to integrate performance considerations into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and use performance testing/Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, Splunk, and AppDynamics. Your expertise in defining/documenting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) will be crucial as you build performance frameworks. Furthermore, your Full Stack development skills with a focus on performance and low latency will be essential. You should also be proficient in debugging/profiling using tools like Chrome Dev Tools and native profilers. A strong knowledge of networking concepts (OSI, TCP, DNS) and browser rendering will be advantageous. Your experience with distributed systems, fault tolerance, and resiliency will be beneficial as you work on microservices, APIs, databases (RDBMS/NoSQL), cloud-native technologies, and monitoring & observability. Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) tools like Mega Hopex, ABACUS, Planview, and Orbus iServer will be a plus. Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders are key aspects of this role. You should be able to develop long-term performance strategies, monitoring dashboards, and best practices to drive performance improvements within the organization.,
