Sr. PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant - Remote

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Functional Consultant with in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in at least three core Finance modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management (AM), or Cash Management, with proven ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective PeopleSoft configurations and solutions

Responsibilities

Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze financial process requirements and translate them into PeopleSoft solutions

Configure, test, and support PeopleSoft Financials modules according to best practices and business needs

Lead or assist in Fit-Gap analysis sessions during implementations and upgrades

Collaborate with technical developers to design and validate customizations, reports, and integrations

Conduct functional testing and regression testing

Prepare detailed functional specifications, configuration documents, and training materials

Troubleshoot functional issues and support end users in production environments

Stay updated on PeopleSoft updates, PUM images, and feature enhancements to recommend continuous improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong desire to explore and commitment to comprehend existing customizations.

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

5 to 7 years of functional experience with PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM)

Hands-on implementation or upgrade/support experience in at least three modules from GL, AP, AR, AM, or Cash Management

Strong understanding of PeopleSoft configuration, chartfields, accounting entries, and reporting processes

Ability to create and review functional design documents (FDD) and guide technical teams

Proficiency in requirement gathering, business process mapping, and solution design

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PeopleSoft 9.0 & above and PUM image updates

Experience in end-to-end PeopleSoft implementations or upgrade projects

Exposure to Financial Statement reports
