Description
You will work with a range of technical experts and knowledge leaders from the business, providing exposure to an industry sector that embraces innovation and evolution. Your responsibilities will include maintaining PeopleSoft environments, troubleshooting and fixing all server/application-related issues, driving PUM upgrade activities, supporting the Technical team in migrating approved code to Production, ensuring environment availability for end users, planning downtime, performing post-refresh activities on non-production environments, monitoring Production Schedule Jobs, troubleshooting performance issues, Oracle Database Refresh/cloning, PeopleSoft Quarterly Patching of mid-tier and PeopleTools components, Oracle Database operations including patching, maintenance monitoring, performance monitoring, and tuning. Additionally, you will create and execute backup/restore and disaster recovery strategies and scripts for databases in specified environments and provide database administration consulting services for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Qualifications: - Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Admin technical architecture. - Application Administration and People Tools. - Experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components including App Servers, Process Schedulers, and WebLogic Servers on LINUX and Windows. - High-level skills in People Tools v854 and higher, and with Integration Broker. - Expert ability in administering Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases. - Minimum of five years of PeopleSoft infrastructure experience. - Comprehensive understanding of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA). - Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x (or above). - Accomplished ability in all technical areas of PeopleSoft and/or PS Admin. - Knowledge in all DBA areas (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle). - Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution. - Effective Communication/Reporting to end users and Team members. Professional Skills & Requirements: - 5+ years of experience. - Good communication skills. - Analytical skills. - Ability to handle pressure. - Experience working with public cloud platforms.
