Job Description

As the Global People (HR) Operations Manager (APAC) at Dolby, you will play a crucial role in leading and directing the People Operations team in the Asia-Pacific region. Your responsibilities will include operational, project, and program management, with a focus on driving process improvements and ensuring a fantastic employee experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and efficiency, while also partnering with leaders to address complex employment actions and develop improvement plans. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and direct the Global People Operations team in the Asia-Pacific region - Manage administrative and subject matter expert roles within the team - Drive global process improvement projects and initiatives - Develop and implement a roadmap for People Operations improvements - Standardize global business processes and optimize efficiency - Partner with leaders on various employment actions and compliance matters - Develop and update policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance - Support internal and external audit requests related to SOX controls - Lead all aspects of Bangalore employee experience and site support - Partner with stakeholders to create a roadmap for People and site related programs - Advise and coach managers and employees on People related matters - Document complex employment actions and agreements - Develop relationships with regional leaders and engage proactively on growth initiatives Qualifications Required: - Proficient in English (both written and verbal) - Minimum eight years of HR or related experience, with two years in managing People/People Operations - HR Generalist experience with a focus on employee relations - Deep understanding of Asia-Pacific employment laws and regulations - Ability to manage high-performing teams in multiple locations - Global and strategic mindset with a collaborative approach - Strong problem-solving and project management skills - Experience with cloud-based HR systems and digital collaboration tools - Willingness to learn and embrace technology for employee experience improvement - Flexibility to work in a multinational context and accommodate meetings in different time zones - Willingness to travel frequently within APAC and occasionally outside of APAC - Ability to work from the Bangalore office at least two days per week Preferred Experience: - Proficiency in a third language (French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Korean) Join Dolby and be part of a team that is revolutionizing how people create, deliver, and enjoy entertainment worldwide.
