The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Consultant (Senior) with experience in delivering HR Mergers and Acquisitions / HR Transactions Projects to join the People Consulting team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a leading global professional services organisation whilst being instrumental in the growth of the People Consulting team.
Your Key
- Contribute to the HR Transactions PMO by supporting project goverce, tracking milestones, coordinating with global stakeholders, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across HR Transactions emphasizing on post-merger integration, spin-offs and carve-outs
- Assist end-to-end delivery for global transaction assignments and manage stakeholder communication across multiple time-zones
- Showcase technical and analytical expertise in a deal context for key HR aspects HR Operations, Labor Relations and Compliance, Organisation and Talent Management, Employee Experience and Day 1 Communications
- Leverage technology including AI tools, data analytics platforms, and automation solutions - throughout the deal / MA cycle to enhance efficiency, generate deeper insights, and deliver high-impact outcomes
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills and provide compelling deliverables tailored for global stakeholders and client leadership
- Actively support proposal development, pursuits, and RFP responses in collaboration with global teams to drive business growth
- Build and demonstrate expertise in other related areas such as HR transformation, organization change management, organisation design, etc
- Support development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to broaden capability offerings within the practice and enhance GDS awareness across the firm
- Ensure quality of all work outputs, timeliness and accuracy of content

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 3-9 years of experience in Human Capital and HR Transactions Consulting
- Conversant with at least one full HR MA project lifecycle, covering planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Good understanding of the HR landscape, including total rewards, compensation structures, country-specific compliance, organization design, and transactions change management principles
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment relating to employee rewards and reporting related to broad based compensation and benefits
- Ability to assess post-merger or acquisition scenarios and recommend suitable HR integration approaches, including operating model alignment, workforce transition strategies, cultural harmonization, and organizational design adjustments
- Understanding of the full life-cycle of Human Resources function
- Experience in review and analysis of current scenarios and underlying assumptions
- Experience in providing timely and effective reporting of findings and post deal concerns
- Ability to identify possible approach post-merger or acquisition
- masters or MBA degree in HR or similar
- Knowledge of data and talent management tools such as Workday and SAP SuccessFactors
- Strong Excel, Presentation and Power BI skills
- Proficiency in leveraging technology including AI and data analytics
Good to have
- Experience in one or more areas of Culture, Actuarial and Equity knowledge along talent Unions. International knowledge of mergers and acquisitions will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of supporting HR Due Diligence assignments
- Experience of working with consulting firms
