Job Description

Pega Senior System Architect (SSA)

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Pega applications focusing on healthcare payment workflows and integrations.
Work with business teams to translate payment requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Implement and optimize payment gateway integrations, transaction processing, and reconciliation flows.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards for payment data.
Lead offshore development efforts and mentor junior developers on best practices.
Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and support SIT/UAT activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Pega components and payment modules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of experience in
Pega PRPC
development.
Pega Certified Senior System Architect (SSA)
is mandatory.
Strong experience in payment integration (gateways, APIs, transaction workflows).
Solid understanding of US healthcare domain (claims, billing, provider/patient payments).
Expertise in Pega integrations using SOAP/REST services and connectors.
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience working in
Agile/Scrum
environments.
