Job Description

As a Design and Development Specialist with 4-6 years of experience in Pega 8.x, you will be responsible for creating robust solutions that enhance business functionality and improve user experience. Your role will involve leading integration projects to connect Pega applications with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs. Additionally, you will focus on optimizing application performance and scalability through effective design and tuning of Pega implementations. You will be required to provide expert guidance on Pega upgrades and patches to ensure minimal disruption to existing services. Conducting peer reviews and code audits will also be part of your responsibilities to ensure adherence to the latest Pega development standards and practices. To excel in this role, you must hold a Certified PEGA Senior System Architect (SSA) certification and possess a strong knowledge of integration patterns and middleware technologies like SOAP, REST, and JMS. Experience with relational databases and their integration into Pega applications is essential. Domain knowledge in industries such as banking, insurance, or healthcare, along with an understanding of their unique needs and challenges, will be beneficial in this position.
