Job Description

PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician is responsible for inspecting new vehicles before delivery to customers, ensuring each vehicle meets the required quality, safety, and performance standards as specified by the manufacturer and dealership.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles as per manufacturer checklist.
Inspect vehicle exterior, interior, engine compartment, chassis, and electrical systems for proper functioning.
Conduct road tests when required to verify performance.
Install accessories, number plates, and mandatory fittings as instructed.
Diagnose and fix minor issues such as fluid levels, battery charging, lights, and warning indicators.
Ensure vehicles are cleaned, polished, and ready for delivery.
Update inspection reports and maintain accurate records in the DMS.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and dealership policies.
Report any major defects immediately to the PDI Supervisor/Service Manager.
Coordinate with sales and service teams to ensure timely vehicle delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering or related field preferred.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
Ability to follow checklists and technical instructions.
Good understanding of vehicle electrical and mechanical components.
Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
