PCB Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality PCBs using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer).

• Collaborate with engineers to understand circuit requirements and create schematic designs.

• Perform PCB layout, including component placement, routing, and optimization for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.

• Select appropriate electronic components and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

• Generate and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), Gerber files, and assembly drawings.

• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams to improve PCB designs.

• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the design is optimized for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCB design, fabrication, and assembly.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in PCB design technology and industry trends.

• Participate in prototype testing and validation to ensure the PCB meets performance and reliability requirements.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant field.

• Proven experience minimum 1 year in PCB design and layout, preferably in a similar role.

• Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer.

• Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and signal integrity principles.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to PCB design and manufacturing.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with high-speed digital and analog circuit design is a plus. Familiarity with EMC/EMI considerations in PCB design is advantageous.
