We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PCB Design Engineer to join our Electronics Research and Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for our innovative electronic products. The candidate should have a strong background in PCB layout, design principles, and electronic component selection. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure the successful development and production of high-quality PCBs. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality PCBs using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer). Collaborate with engineers to understand circuit requirements and create schematic designs. Perform PCB layout, including component placement, routing, and optimization for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management. Select appropriate electronic components and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Generate and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), Gerber files, and assembly drawings. Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams to improve PCB designs. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure the design is optimized for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCB design, fabrication, and assembly. Stay updated with the latest advancements in PCB design technology and industry trends. Participate in prototype testing and validation to ensure the PCB meets performance and reliability requirements. Qualifications : Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant field. Proven experience minimum 1 year in PCB design and layout, preferably in a similar role. Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer. Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and signal integrity principles. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to PCB design and manufacturing. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with high-speed digital and analog circuit design is a plus. Familiarity with EMC/EMI considerations in PCB design is advantageous.
