PCB Design Engineer

As an experienced PCB Design Engineer, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Perform product characterization and develop specifications - Design schematics for various electronic components - Create PCB designs and layout for high-density multi-layer boards - Generate Gerber files for manufacturing - Conduct prototype board bring up, testing, and debugging - Resolve any design issues that may arise during the development phase - Ensure thorough documentation of all design processes Qualifications required for this role include: - Solid experience in PCB design, verification, and assembly - Proficiency in schematic design, verification, and modification - Design and development experience in industrial-related products is a plus - Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance and intrinsically safe design - Expertise in designing complex high-density multi-layer PCBs with various high-density and SMD packages - Knowledge of standard Analog & Mixed signal design - Ability to create, check, and edit Gerber and plot files - Exposure to relevant IPC standards & MIL Standard design - Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Allegro, Orcad, Mentor Graphics, Altium, CAD-Star, etc. - Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes - Familiarity with passive components, transistors (BJTs and FETs) - Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team to meet product delivery goals - Strong communication skills to define and address problems across multiple groups - Preferred expertise in high-speed design and knowledge in SI and PI simulation - Appreciation for knowledge in Flex PCB design Join our team to contribute your expertise in PCB design and development while working on cutting-edge projects in the electronics industry.
