As an experienced Pattern Maker specializing in die and casting pattern fabrication for industrial and foundry applications, your role will involve reading engineering drawings, developing accurate patterns and core boxes, and ensuring flawless production quality. You will be expected to use both hand and machine tools with expertise in various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic. Your keen attention to detail, commitment to safety standards, and proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize pattern designs for efficient casting processes will be crucial. Additionally, your collaboration with engineering and production teams is essential for a smooth workflow and on-time delivery of components. Key Responsibilities: - Pattern making from blueprints and technical drawings - Die and casting pattern design and fabrication - Familiarity with foundry processes: molding, core making, and pour/mold techniques - Operating workshop machinery: lathe, milling, grinding, drilling, cutting tools - Knowledge of gating, risering, and foundry best practices - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for pattern designing - 3D modeling and prototype development - Measuring and quality checking using precision instruments - Maintenance and repair of patterns and dies - Strong organizational and documentation skills - Teamwork, problem-solving, and time management Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in die and casting pattern fabrication - Proficiency in reading engineering drawings - Expertise in using hand and machine tools for pattern making - Knowledge of various materials including wood, metal, and plastic - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize pattern designs - Collaboration skills with engineering and production teams In addition to the job-specific details, the company provides benefits such as a flexible schedule and leave encashment.
