Pattern Maker

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pattern Maker at Motherhouse India Pvt Ltd located in Kolkata. As a Pattern Maker, you will be responsible for creating and developing patterns for designer garments with accuracy and precision. Sampling and new developments will also be an important part of your job profile. You will work closely with the lead designer and production teams to translate design concepts into patterns. To excel in this role, you should have a strong knowledge and experience in pattern making for garments. Proficiency in using CAD software for pattern development is essential. An understanding of garment construction and fabric properties will be beneficial. Your ability to interpret and translate design concepts into pattern templates with attention to detail and accuracy will be key to your success. Effective communication and collaboration skills are important to work closely with designers and production teams. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the fashion industry with Japanese customers or a similar role is required. This position offers paid sick time, Provident Fund, and a yearly bonus. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in pattern making.
