Pattern Maker

As a Pattern Maker, you will be responsible for meeting with product designers to discuss the base design and reading and interpreting design models and blueprints. You will create rough-draft templates using computer drafting software and freehand techniques. Your tasks will include measuring, cutting, and designing patterns in the material required, as well as double-checking the pattern dimensions and style. Additionally, you will send the initial pattern for a manufacturing check and meet with designers to review the final product. In this role, you will be involved in tweaking the pattern and finalizing the design before reporting back to company managers. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the design team.
