Job Description

A PCCO will accompany patients to their respective counters/wardsA PCCO will respond to the patient s request for information and offer proper guidanceA PCCO will facilitate the collection and return of medical records to and from the respective departmentsA PCCO will check the respective patient s medical records for any notes/cross consultationA PCCO will attend to the instructions of the doctors and assist them as and when requiredA PCCO will assist in procedures as and when neededA PCCO will ensure the prompt and safe movement of files and documents between the various departmentsA PCCO will assist in office work, viz, taking photocopies, data entry, etcA PCCO on being posted in various departments will assume respective departmental responsibilities under supervisionA PCCO will attend to phone calls as and when neededA PCCO will also be responsible for any job assigned to him/her from time to time by the management A PCCO is responsible for the care of patients (non-clinical) during the process of their treatment in the hospital thus ensuring patient satisfaction.
A PCCO also assists the staff in day to day work.
