Patent Proofreading Quality Analyst

Role Overview: As a Patent Proofreader at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of patents through thorough proofreading processes. Your responsibilities will include quality checking of proofread US Issued Patents and Patent Applications, identifying errors in grammar, punctuation, scientific terms, and other critical details, adhering to QC checklists and SOPs, and providing constructive feedback to the team. You will be required to maintain data integrity and handle critical queries with discretion and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: - Quality check of proofread US Issued Patents and Patent Applications - Hands-on review of US Patents for identifying errors in grammar, punctuation, scientific terms, and complex structures - Adherence to QC checklists and SOPs for proofreading - Reporting cases to clients after error correction - Resolving critical queries raised by team members - Providing process training and guidance to new joiners - Maintaining accuracy and integrity of handled data Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Science or English - Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Patent Proofreader and 1 year as a Quality Analyst for Patent Proofreading - Excellent knowledge of US Patent Prosecution Life Cycle Additional Company Details (if applicable): The company values individuals who can communicate effectively, follow instructions accurately, and demonstrate attention to detail and analytical skills.
