Job Description

The role is responsible for execution of HMI & User Experience attribute development action on all PV programs in line with brand, segment and market position.This role is responsible to set, release, monitor and deliver attribute targets, defined basis attribute SOI, DNA and PALS and align to the program timeline for all programs on PV and EV platforms. In addition, responsible for creating annual futuring report for the attribute, basis competition and market trends. Dimensions of the position Financial: Responsible for the timely inputs for CAPEX and Revenue Budgets (for facility planning, tests equipment and management) to execute and ascertain the attribute status meets development timelines

Relevant Experience : 5+ years experience in domain of new product development / Validation Automotive application, CVP or Telematics App testing, vehicle level validation for App U, architecture understanding of ECUs- EMS, TCU, BCM, IC, EMS interface. Knowledge of Automotive Design principles and in depth knowledge of Product Attributes with experience of managing at least 2 full-scale vehicle programs in the capacity of Lead PAT MHan expert in drivability calibration of automatic transmission vehicles. Powertrain & TCU (AT, AMT, DCT) functionality testing, integration with other ECU s and signal interface Testing of Automotive vehicle electronics, ECU (EMS, TCU/BCM/PEPS/IC/external features etc) based testing-development, vehicle diagnostic for DTC data analysis. Benchmarking & analysis skills for recommendation in execution strategies. CAN based instrumentation hands-on, interaction with different tools for testing & validation Exposure to objective/subjective evaluation of vehicles for static and dynamic parameters. Working knowledge of Instrumentation used in automotive testing. Detailed understanding of attribute definition and validation, attribute futuring, architecture benchmarking. Education Work Experience Key Responsibilities: S.N. Key Responsibility & Key Tasks Measures 1 Attribute, Technology and Product Planning Participate and contribute in Attribute maturity plan action plan.

Perform Vehicle testing, Data collections and analysis as per Attribute maturity plan. Assimilate market/ customer centric feedback from internal and external sources (IPTV, JDP data and customer support feedback, and magazine and product review reports) in order to mature the attributes. Participate in Preparation of Attribute futuring reports based on the competition Intelligence, benchmarking data analysis, market trends and future regulatory requirements. Responsible for making new requirements, Feature SOIs, WG, PDCA of past & field failures, and test cases thus contribution to Attribute maturity. Record TGR TGW Release of Attribute futuring report. Technology demonstrators as proof of concept. 2 Project delivery Attribute level target setting, balancing and signoff. Prepare DVP for a project, participate in Proto plan, Build card, vehicle sign offs Plan, execute and monitor attribute validation as per program timeline. Monitor issues reported during validation, lead the technical Root cause Analysis of issue, Record and Escalate issues is systemic process tools. Review and validate Corrective actions arising out of RCA of technical issues. Approve, communicate and review progress of DVP. Fulfilling ESO requirement in the form of test reports and Sign off documents. Record TGR / TGWs, New work methods conducted during project delivery. Support field issue investigation, VAVE Participated in VAVE, Weight optimization and other quality improvement initiatives. Meet project timelines and attribute targets. Early inputs using digital tools. Gateway deliverables PDSR (Plan vs Actual) 3 Process and productivity improvement Release new requirements for attribute maturity. Identify & release of new tests cases / New attributes parameters, to meet future requirement of product. Revisit the existing tests / methods to improve the productivity. Identify investment needs for new test setup/infrastructure to meet future needs and accordingly generate request for provision from financial perspective. No of requirements released No. of new tests methods work guidelines added/ modified.
