As a Manager at EY, you'll have the opportunity to lead a team of analysts, advanced analysts, seniors, and assistant managers. Your primary responsibilities will include engagement management, developing client relationships, and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service. You are expected to review and sign all types of UK tax returns, demonstrate a high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge, and manage the engagement team effectively. Your role involves setting performance measurements, ensuring performance goals are met, identifying new services for the sub-service line, cross-selling extended services to clients, and representing the practice to external audiences. Key Responsibilities: - Review and sign all types of UK tax returns - Manage the engagement team, setting performance measurements and ensuring goals are met - Identify and champion new services for the sub-service line - Cross-sell extended services to clients - Develop, mentor, and supervise analysts, advanced analysts, seniors, and assistant managers - Demonstrate leadership, executive presence, and effective communication skills - Adhere to firm policies related to independence, confidentiality, privacy, and knowledge-sharing As a people manager, you are expected to create and lead high-performing teams, inspire team members, lead by example, be a role model, coach team members, and develop a flexible management style to meet the diverse needs of both your team and clients.
