Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Chess Coach located in Adyar, Chennai. The Chess Coach will be responsible for developing and delivering chess training programs, instructing students of various skill levels, organizing and supervising practice sessions and matches, and providing individualized coaching to enhance players' strategic thinking and performance. The role also involves tracking and assessing students’ progress and preparing them for competitions.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of chess strategies and techniques
• Experience in coaching or teaching chess
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Organizational and planning skills for managing training programs and matches
• Patience and the ability to work with students of varying ages and skill levels
• Proficiency in English or the local language
• Previous experience in competitive chess is a plus

Schedule

• 3 Classes per week (Monday - Wednesday - Friday) - (5-6 pm)
• Subject to changes as per Batch availability
