Panel Operation - Steam Turbine Generator - Deepak Chem Tech Ltd- Dahe

Purpose of the role:

• Safely, reliably, and efficiently operate the

  Steam Turbine Generator (STG)

  and auxiliaries from the

  DCS/control panel

  .
• Execute

  startup, synchronization, loading/unloading, and shutdown

  per approved

  SOPs

  and grid requirements.

• Monitor & control

  key process parameters via

  DCS/PLC

  (steam pressure/temperature, bearing temperature, turbine load).
• Record

  hourly readings

  (lube oil level/temperature/pressure, vibration, generator output) and

  log daily

  steam balance, generation, and power export.
• Maintain

  stable generation and optimum efficiency

  by controlling steam flow and governing systems; adjust setpoints per plant demand.
• Coordinate with

  Boiler, WTP, and Electrical teams

  ; support electrical switching/synchronization/maintenance activities.
• Verify and respond to

  alarms, trips, interlocks, and safety devices

  ; act promptly to prevent equipment damage/tripping.
• Be

  ready for emergencies

  (turbine trips, power failures, vacuum collapse); follow

  ESD procedures

  .
• Report unsafe conditions/acts/near misses to

  PO/Shift Incharge

  and on the

  EHS portal

Experience & Qualification:

• Total experience:

  3 - 5 years

• ~2 years

  preferred.

• Qualification:

  B.Tech/BE (Mechanical/Electrical)

  MS Office, Oracle/SAP, EHS Tool
