Job Description

Position Overview: The Construction Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules (L2, L3, L4), preparing comprehensive project plans using MS Project/Primavera, and supporting project digitization and IPMS implementation. The role demands strong technical skills in planning tools and construction management systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules (L2, L3, L4). Prepare Master Programme using MS Project/Primavera. Support project digitization and IPMS platform implementation. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Create catch-up and look-ahead plans; monitor critical paths. Develop WBS and allocate resources for scheduling and planning. Conduct delay analysis and recommend preventive actions. Develop MIS for DPR, WPR, and MPR for management review. Prepare and submit Extension of Time (EoT) claims. Collect and analyze engineering, procurement, and construction data. Prepare periodic project progress reports. Formulate recovery plans to mitigate delays. Create S Curves, Bar Charts, and Histograms for baseline monitoring. Update schedules based on actual progress and highlight critical activities. Organize and document project review meetings. Prepare presentations for client and management reviews. Facilitate timely project completion through micro-planning. Predict delays and alert management proactively. Monitor daily progress and address deviations from the plan. Education Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in construction planning and control. Technical Competencies/Skills: Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera Strong knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint Exposure to construction management tools Behavioral Competencies: Strong communication skills Leadership and team collaboration Problem-solving ability Attention to detail
