Painting Supervisor (Civil)

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Painting Supervisor in the construction industry to oversee the work of painters, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality and safety standards. This role involves supervising teams, managing materials, preparing surfaces, and maintaining a safe work environment. The Painting Supervisor is also responsible for communicating with clients or project managers, monitoring progress, and resolving any on-site issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise a team of painters, delegating tasks and providing on-site guidance
• Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to schedule painting activities in alignment with project timelines
• Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Train new painters on painting techniques, material usage, and safety protocols
• Order and maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to painting team members
• Collaborate with other construction trades to ensure smooth coordination of all on-site activities
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and project milestones
• Conduct quality checks and final inspections to ensure high standards of work

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a painter in the construction industry, with at least [1-2] years of experience.
• ITI / Diploma in Civil or relevant field
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to painting and construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
