Paint Shop Supervisor

As a Paint Shop Supervisor Trainee/Entry-Level at our company, you will assist in overseeing painting and surface treatment activities in the manufacturing of transformer radiators. Your role will involve learning paint process standards, supervising surface preparation, monitoring coating quality, and maintaining documentation under the guidance of senior personnel. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in supervising daily operations in the paint shop including surface preparation (degreasing, shot blasting, etc.) and painting activities. - Learn and apply industrial painting methods such as spray painting, powder coating, or airless painting. - Monitor paint parameters such as DFT (Dry Film Thickness), gloss, and adhesion under guidance. - Support compliance with quality standards and ensure correct paint codes and colors are used. - Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety in the paint area (5S practices). - Maintain records of paint usage, rejection reports, and inspection results. - Work closely with QC and production teams to resolve minor defects or paint issues. - Participate in paint trials and support process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering - Basic understanding of painting processes and surface treatment (preferable) - Willingness to work in industrial paint shop conditions - Good attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions - Eagerness to learn quality standards (like DFT, salt spray resistance, etc.) - Team player with good communication and observation skills This position is ideal for fresh engineering graduates who are looking to build a career in industrial paint and coating operations within the electrical manufacturing sector.,
