Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Process Management
: Supervise and optimize powder coating operations including pre-treatment, spraying, curing, and inspection.
Quality Control
: Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, and finish quality; implement corrective actions for defects.
Equipment Maintenance
: Ensure proper functioning of spray booths, ovens, and conveyor systems; schedule preventive maintenance.
Material Handling
: Manage inventory of powders, chemicals, and consumables; ensure safe storage and usage.
Team Coordination
: Lead and train paint shop technicians; enforce safety protocols and work discipline.

Documentation
: Maintain records of production, quality checks, and maintenance logs.
Continuous Improvement
: Identify process bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing practices.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma/Degree in
Paint Technology
,
Mechanical Engineering
, or
Chemical Engineering
.
25 years of experience in powder coating or paint shop operations.
Knowledge of
ISO/TS standards
,
5S
, and
Kaizen
is a plus.
