Paint & Prep Artist

As a Digital Paint Artist at Artisan Media, your role involves creating background plates and restoring sequence paint for high-end visual effects. You will be responsible for handling difficult to extremely difficult paint tasks within a fast-paced environment. Your artistic vision, creative thinking ability, and exceptional skills in paint software such as Adobe Photoshop, Nuke, and Silhouette will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Minimum one to two years" hands-on experience with 2D paint and stereo paint - Experience in Plate Creation, Marker removal, Wire & rig removal, matte painting, and all Artifact clean-up - Troubleshoot Nuke paint scripts for issues that arise - Demonstrate a strong knowledge in camera projection, color, and grain structures - Break shots down into individual components with little supervision - Assimilate feedback given by supervisors and share appropriate references with the team - Research and maintain continuity with like shots - Complete projects within given man-days while maintaining quality standards - Collaborate with team members to learn and grow - Take ownership of projects and complete them before deadlines - Understand client instructions and provide desired output - Perform self-review/quality checks for accuracy - Communicate effectively and manage time efficiently - Assess the time necessary to generate high-quality work accurately - Work in swing morning/evening shifts and finish tasks without supervision - Meet productivity and quota targets on time Qualifications Required: - Experience in Hollywood VFX is preferred - Willingness to learn new tools and detail-oriented problem-solving skills - Ability to work under tight deadlines in a production environment - Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a good team player - In-depth knowledge of VFX pipeline for production deliveries Additional Company Details: - Job Location: Chennai, India - Software Knowledge: Adobe Photoshop, Nuke, and Silhouette To apply for this position, please send your updated resume to careers@artisanmedia.in with the job title as the subject of the email.,
