Monitoring and Troubleshooting of BMS and EMS operations Attending to regular breakdowns in process equipment controlled by PLC Systems from manufacturers of Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc. Responsible in attending to breakdowns of clean utility water systems and Process Control system and update daily activity on-time. To attend on Preventive maintenance of PLC Control panels and Electrical systems, . Packing Material Raw Material . Dispensing . Receipt Control. Preferred candidate profile 1. To ensure the efficient, reliable, and safe operation of all mechanical equipment in the cement packing plant by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The role focuses on minimizing equipment downtime, optimizing mechanical performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant productivity. Key Responsibilities: Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and ensure smooth plant operations. Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues promptly and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime and production losses. Equipment Monitoring: Regularly inspect and monitor the condition of mechanical systems, including conveyors, packing machines, compressors, pumps, and other related equipment. Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of mechanical failures and develop solutions to avoid recurrence. Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety. Suggest modifications or upgrades as needed. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with plant safety standards and regulations. Promote a safe working environment for all team members. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory. Prepare reports on maintenance performance and equipment status. Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and support plant operations. Training & Development: Support and train junior technicians and operators in proper operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech/BE). 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a cement packing plant or similar industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including conveyors, packing machines, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Proficiency in preventive and corrective maintenance techniques. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documents. Familiarity with maintenance management systems and computer skills (MS Office). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to workplace safety and environmental standards.
