Packaging Sourcing & Development Manager - Cosmetics & Skincare (Premium Brand)

As a Packaging Sourcing & Development Manager with expertise in cosmetic and skincare packaging, your role will involve leading end-to-end packaging development for skincare, haircare, and beauty categories. You will be responsible for translating design briefs into technical packaging drawings, ensuring brand aesthetic aligns with functionality and manufacturability. Additionally, you will develop and validate luxury finishes like frosted glass, metallization, soft-touch lamination, embossing, and airless systems. Collaborating with NPD and Marketing is essential to introduce packaging that enhances brand storytelling and consumer experience. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading packaging development for skincare, haircare, and beauty categories - Translating design briefs into technical packaging drawings - Developing and validating luxury finishes - Collaborating with NPD and Marketing for brand enhancement - Identifying and onboarding specialized cosmetic packaging vendors - Building a premium vendor network across various countries - Negotiating pricing, MOQs, tooling, and lead times for cost optimization - Managing annual procurement budgets and tracking packaging cost savings - Ensuring compatibility between formulation and packaging materials - Overseeing stability, leak, and transit testing - Driving adoption of eco-friendly materials and evaluating sustainability standards - Working closely with cross-functional teams for on-time delivery of new launches - Partnering with creative agencies and printers for quality control Qualifications required: - 4-10 years of experience in Packaging Development / Procurement within Cosmetics, Skincare, or Personal Care - Diploma or PG in Packaging Technology preferred - Strong vendor network for cosmetic packaging materials - Sound knowledge of molding, printing, metallizing, labeling, and carton finishing - Proven ability to manage multiple NPD launches with strict timelines - Passion for luxury packaging, sustainability, and detail-oriented design If you join us, you will have the opportunity to build the next generation of premium beauty packaging from India, collaborate with top creative and R&D teams, and be part of a brand redefining modern luxury, sustainability, and design precision.,
